DIY Galaxy Art with Albex Bleach

Create a unique textured pattern on a piece of clothing.

1. Gather Materials

What you will need:

- Black t-shirt, made of cotton or rayon

- Plastic trash bag

- Empty plastic spray bottle

- Measuring spoons

- 3 litres of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide

- Plastic dish for rinsing

2. Prep

Lay the black shirt onto the work surface, line the inside of the shirt with plastic to prevent bleach leaking to the back side.

3. Mix

Mix 10ml of Albex™ Bleach + 1 litre of water into the spray bottle.

4. Create

If the colour has not been removed you can repeat this process multiple times to gradually remove the colour safely.

5. Dip

Once you are happy with the pattern submerge the shirt into the prepared hydrogen peroxide and swirl it around for 15 seconds to stop the bleaching process.

6. Rinse

Rinse the shirt and allow to air dry.

Pro Tip: Always check the label of your garment before bleaching. If the material is cotton or a poly/cotton blend then you can safely use bleach.

Never use bleach on fabrics containing Spandex, wool, silk, mohair, and leather.
