How to Remove Black Dye on Whites

Removing black dye from whites

1. Pre-treat

Pre-treat with 10ml of Albex™ Bleach into 1 litre of water, spot treat stain with this solution. Leave for 5 minutes.

2. Wash

Wash immediately in the hottest water recommended by the care label using detergent and 1 cup of Albex™ Bleach.

3. Check

After the wash, check to make sure the stain is gone. If the stain is still present, repeat the process.

Pro tip: Always check the label of your garment before bleaching. If the material is cotton or a poly/cotton blend then you can safely use bleach.

Never use bleach on fabrics containing Spandex, wool, silk, mohair, and leather.

If you are unsure, always conduct a bleachability test.
