Removing blood stains from whites
1. Pre-soak
Pre-soak item in an enzyme based laundry detergent for 60 minutes. The enzymes break down the protein in the blood.
2. Rinse
Rinse the item in cool water.
3. Pre-treat
Dilute 10ml of Albex™ Bleach into 1 litre of water, spot treat stain with this solution. Leave for 5 minutes.
4. Wash
Wash in the hottest water recommended by the care label using detergent + 1 cup of Albex™ Bleach.
5. Check
After the wash, check to make sure the stain is gone. If the stain is still present, repeat the process.
