How to Remove Sunscreen Stains from Whites & Colours

Removing sunscreen stains from whites & colours

1. Blot

Remove any excess sunscreen by blotting with a paper towel or clean cloth. Rubbing too hard can push the stain further into the fabric.

2. Pre-Treat

Pre-treat the stain with Albex™ Dishwashing Liquid. It’s important that when you first pre-treat the stain that the fabric is dry—that is, you don’t rinse it with water first. To pre-treat, apply a Albex™ Dishwashing Liquid directly to the stain and wait 5 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

3. Spray

Spray Albex™ Nostain Pre-wash Stain Remover Spray directly onto the stain, leave for 5 minutes. Make sure you do not let it dry.

4. Wash

For white items: wash the garment with your favourite detergent + 1 cup of Albex™ Bleach in with the detergent.

For coloured items: Wash the garment with your favourite detergent + 100ml of Albex™ Nostain Stain Remover Washing Liquid for colour items.
